When a woman conceives, she has several questions that run through her mind. Every thought is related to the welfare of the creation she is working on. Her hormones change and the increase in progesterone levels add to the discomfort of her growing body.
In today’s world, working is inevitable. A lot of women do not have the luxury of staying home. Resting or working becomes a choice. I sometimes ask my clients, obstetrics is also part of a career; to have a baby is important for your self-growth and transformation into the next phase of life. Sometimes, a baby is a surprise. No one in the family is ready yet. Instead of creating too many unwelcoming thoughts, it is important to accommodate as life happens. Just flow with the life surprises. If you are a control freak, this area is not under your control, learn to surrender.
One question i come across often is, is there a way around prenatal discomfort?
We forget that our body is doing all that it has to, to make room for the little one. I personally taught throughout my pregnancy. A lot of women work till their due date, or till the baby is ready to show up. Discomforts exists in all pregnancies. Frequency and intensity differ with each woman and with every new pregnancy. It is up to you to accept the discomfort and figure out solutions or create millions of thoughts of how hard whole journey is. Keep the end results on mind that will create a joyous outlook on the entire journey.
These are some of the ways you can manage working and being pregnant at the same time. Accept that your mind slows down and in certain situations you can forget things. Do not assume that your body is the same. I like to write notes to remind me of a lot of things as I progress in my pregnancy. It is proved scientifically that we lose brain cells with each pregnancy. I have had 4 of them, so I am not sure about the count of my brain cells. I have had such amazing experiences with each pregnancy. I have gotten better in managing it now. Below are 5 types of meditation that helped ease my life and bring harmony in my family and my journey with each pregnancy.
Meditation can improve your concentration and also result in the baby’s ability to be calm and concentrate. It also provides foundation for bonding that happens later when the baby arrives. It removes frustrations, and brings clarity into women's mind. Pregnancy can trigger certain emotions that are not worth taking a ride on, as everything is absorbed a tiny little one inside you.
